Terms & Conditions:
- Items do not get booked / reserved until payment has been acknowledged by us.
- Payments can be made in cash, by paypal or through debit / credit cards (Visa, Master and Amex only – EFTPOS cards NOT accepted – 3% card fees applies) and will be refunded through the same method on receipt of goods without damage and in clean condition. Any damages or cleaning will be reasonably charged at our discretion.
- Please note refunds on payments made via cards can take upto 12 working days to clear – depending on the banks involved.
- Kids themes: Kindly note pricing of kids themed plinths and cutouts are subject to the hire of backdrop with them, pricing will be slightly more if hired without the backdrop.
- Marquees: Our marquees are temporary structures and just like other temporary structures, they are not meant to stand extreme weather, high wind, heavy rain or stormy conditions. For the safety of your guests and of the items, we strongly suggest not to use them in such cases.
- We do not recommend the marquees to stand upright overnight unattended.
- For safety reasons, during adverse weather forecasts (e.g. high wind or heavy rain) all marquee bookings shall remain subject to cancellation at any time at our discretion. Marquee hire refund will be made in this case and no other liability is accepted.
- Refundable bond amount is subject to increase at our discretion with notice under special circumstances e.g. weather forecasts, website bond calculation errors, etc.
- No hire insurance cover is provided as part of this hire and customer accepts all liability as a consequence of items hired. Customer agrees to indemnify the event hire business from any claims or losses as a consequence of the hire. Customer agrees that he/she/it has accepted to waive applicable rights to any damages claims as a consequence of this hire.
- All items are hired out for personal and non-commercial uses only.
- All items must be returned within the hire period, regardless of their condition.
- Customer must inspect all items thoroughly in advance to satisfy oneself that the items are in acceptable condition. Should there be any issues, customer may be offered an alternative subject to availability. In event of unavailability, hiring business shall provide a refund for that item.
- * ELECTRIC HEATERS HIRE * Kindly Note each Electric Heater uses 2500W on full and 1250W on half setting. If you wish to connect multiple of these from the same power socket, they might trip the power mains. We therefore recommend connecting each unit to its own power point to distribute the load. Whether your premises can power multiple of these heaters or not, will depend on how the property electricity is wired.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices on this website shall be considered the final updated prices.
- Items get booked for you on a per day basis for your event date, Although we might offer flexible pickup and return times subject to availabilities, we might request an earlier return after your booked event date or a later pickup before your event starts.
- ** Cancellation Policy ** Stock of items for hire are generally limited, therefore all items once confirmed and paid for by a customer are exclusively reserved to that customer. This means that the same items cannot be booked by others and any bookings attempts of that stock are denied. Hence an admin / booking cancellation amount (up to the full booking amount) could be charged at discretion of Candles Event Hire for any cancelled or rescheduled bookings.
